We got to play soccer in the street with some of the kids in Dora’s neighborhood.  Those kids don’t mess around (I made 2 goals)!

These two were brothers.  The older one (in the yellow) took such good care of the youngest.  They loved each other so much… and they were so excited to get some new kicks!

Mexico was absolutely amazing!  I have only been a few times.  Each time I go God speaks to me in a new and fresh way.  The children were hungry for love and everyone was hungry for Jesus.  Quite a few people gave their hearts to Jesus and we even saw some people healed!  There are so many more stories and pictures that I would like to share.  I will load some new ones in a few days.

That’s something that I have always heard, “New Levels, New Devils!”- like I should be expecting them when change occurs in my life.  

This statement has proved itself true to me quite recently.  I have been taken to a new place in my walk with the Lord and areas of my heart.  Lately, I have been struggling with things that I thought were behind me and tempted with thoughts of insecurity that I thought had dissipated.  Today I am left in a place of confusion as I try to make since of my “rollercoastered” self. 

I feel a stirring in my spirit as I pray and I am positive that the Lord is working with me, through me, and inside of me.  I also take hold of the scripture in Ephesians 4.  I am made new in the “attitude of your [my] mind”…to be “like God in true righteousness and holiness.” 

I receive the authority that God has given me to overcome these “new devils” today and I claim victory, because the victory is already His.

Haha… for the record, it’s not true!  I am not engaged.  Just wanted to clear things up!

These are two of the boys that I nanny.  On Monday they asked if we could go swimming next week, and I told them yes.  Then the boy on the left, Isaiah, looked concerned as he was studying my arms.  He then said, “Dani, you might need to wear sunscreen.”  I laughed and asked why (already knowing his response). “Well, Dani” he said, “you have light skin and it looks like the sun could burn you.”  It was very sweet for him to suggest. Haha…
 Oh the joys of being white! 

Yesterday in Government class my teacher asked the question-

What is the reasoning behind homosexual marriges being against the law?   How is it wrong?  Why does it make since that they can make a law against it if it’s not hurting anybody? 

Nobody answered… So I decided to speak up. 

Well, wasn’t our nation founded on Biblical principles?

No, No, No, No, No and NO!  She replied redfaced- Our nation was NOT founded on Biblical principles!  That is such a misconception.

Well, weren’t our forefathers Christians?

No, No, No, NO!  Not all of them were Christians!  We do not need to bring religion into this discussion!  I have my religion and you have your religion and it doesn’t need to be brought up in class.

I am not trying to bring up my religion in class, I am was just suggesting that the reason homosexual marraiges are against could be because of our forefathers beliefs and the fact that many believe that it is morally wrong because of the Bible and their upbringing. 

I have spoken to a coulple pastor’s in the past 24 hours…  one agrees with me and the other with my government teacher.

My appointment on Monday went well!  They found no signs of any disease in my intestines…. which is MARVELOUS!  The doctor believes that the problem could be cyst on my ovaries- which I was checked for last year and it was confirmed positive, but they want me to have two more ultra sounds to see if that is still the reason for all my pain.

I know I am in God’s hands.  He is taking care of me and knows each cell and organism in my body.  I believe that I am in the process of being healed.

Today would by my cousin, Chari’s, 23rd birthday!  She passed away in ‘05… One of my best friends!  She was beauitful, talented, and SO much fun. She taught me my “fat face!”

Our parents were always horrified when we would make this face together!  I am sure she has Jesus laughing right now! 

Please keep her brother, Garrett, and her parents, Laura and Tom, in your prayers as well as the rest of our family.

On my way to school today I turned the station a few times…. 98.1… 100.7… 97.3…. No good country was playing.  I switched the radio off and decided that Jesus was more important than George Strait, so I began to pray.  I finally pulled into the parking garage at ACC, put the car in park, and opened the door to get out.  As my door opened I heard some praise and worship music coming from a nearby car.  I walked over to the vehicle where the music was coming from and smiled.  There was a woman getting out of her car.  “That is a refreshing sound,” I said to her.  She returned the smile and said, “Jesus is good.” 
The love of Jesus was so evident in her eyes…

My run-in with her was better than a triple grande white chocolate mocha! 
Soul coffee… my cup runneth over!

Thank you Jesus.
